Whether a discreet rendezvous or a large self-presentation – the world of fetish is colorful, dazzling androaring. Fetish fashion has been used everywhere in pop culture in recent years. Music videos from Lady Gaga to Rihanna are full of allusions from the fetish world. Some remembers the scandal of Gianni Versace in 1992: Versace designed a bondage collection that was very controversial and sometimes even called misogynistic. It is less politicized, but used playfully as an aesthetic possibility. The designers include elements of fetish clothing in their collections.
Helene Fischer even caused a small scandal within the pop music industry when she wore a latex bra.
Leather and latex have become accepted.
But, and this is the question: does the individual admirer of this avant-garde lifestyle dare to step into the limelight. If he sets himself up to his passion, he appears as a shadow figure in the fantasy. In short; do we dare to venture into the darkrooms and to the celebrations of the dazzling alienation?
Established in Berlin for some time: Wild club nights and sex have always mixed well together here. A growing number of parties bring together hedonism and fetish, the queer scene and party people – Darkroom 4.0.
But in other cities too, the combination of eroticism, fetish and club life is increasingly becoming the trend in night-time partying. In Munich there is a fine scene that revolves around the SubRosaDictum events. The Munich fashion event Avantgardista manages to bring together fashion, eroticism and fetish. Organizer Christian Eberle has created a very special and exclusive happening with this fetish series:
“All fashion designers and makers who move in this subculture or niche need a common stage. A platform that focuses on their (fetish) design and fashion.”
His main goal is to reduce prejudices. Fetish is an exciting part of life, an expression of countless individual life plans, ultimately a social phenomenon:
“For me, it’s the best compliment when a visitor comes and says that he has never seen anything like it in life. Because we at the Avantgardista want to change perspectives, present life forms that are unusual, exotic, artistic, and bring their very special individuality into the world. Only this creates diversity and suspense – ultimately a celebration of life.”
Anything is possible at Avantgardista 2019, which will take place next Saturday in Munich at the Zenit.In addition to all the new fetish outfits presented at fashion shows, the Avantgardista offers many insights into the alternative, fetishistic lifestyle. This is worth a trip for”tattoo enthusiasts” like us. Wealso know the arousal that occurs with a tattoo, the tingling on the skin, the excitement of the new. Thathits the same notch. Many fetish lovers see the tattoo as a way to make lasting physical marks. And the tattooists love the unusual aesthetics of the fetish world.
